A tobogganing party provides excitement for young and old alike! The wind whipping against your face, the feel of speed as you whiz along the track, the crunch of snow...what fun!
Ciasa Roby tobogganing tip:
- Nature toboggan run "Trù Liösa Foram": the track begins at Piz Sorega (2,003 m) and descends through meadows and forests to St. Kassian (1,537 m) with a total length of 3.5 km and an average gradient of 10 – 15%. The landscape along the route is breath-takingly beautiful: from the snowy Alpine meadows of the high plateau, the track goes through the “Foram” forest before descending finally to the valley below. The Piz Sorega cable car transports you back to the start in comfort.
- Toboggan run from Pralongià/Störes Plateau - Armentarola/San Cassiano: the toboggan run goes from the Pralongià/Störes plateau down to Armentarola, surrounded by fantastic mountain scenery. An easy walk of 1 ½ hours beginning in St. Kassian brings you back to the start. If you would rather save yourself the uphill walk, you can take the Piz Sorega cable car to the high plateau of the same name. The start is only a short walk (about 15 minutes) from here.
